Amanda has firmly anchored her career in the tourism and customer service industry. Her work experience ranges from cashier to outdoor adventure guide and includes positions such as motorcoach tour leader and operations manager of some of BC's busiest, high-profile visitor centres. This broad range of experience allows her to connect with workshop participants and personalize each learning experience.
Amanda has earned an Outdoor Recreation and Ecotourism Certificate from College of New Caledonia and a Bachelor of Tourism Management from Thompson Rivers University.
She started delivering tourism related workshops in 2004, and has developed a feirce passion for guiding others in their own tourism careers.
Wendy is an expert in the business of tourism. Her 25+ years as an entrepreneur has included the start-up and operation of a successful adventure tourism business as well as the management of visitor services contracts with Tourism BC and BC Parks. She has years of experience as a tourism trainer, and designed and wrote the curriculum for the College of New Caledonia’s Northern Outdoor Recreation and Ecotourism Program.
Wendy is a Certified General Accountant, with a Masters in Business Administration from Laurentian University, and a Provincial Instructor Diploma from Vancouver Community College.
Bruce is an avid naturalist as well as a leadership and communication specialist. He has over 20 years experience as an outdoor adventure guide, leading tours in activities such as rafting, hiking, and canoeing and has worked extensively delivering nature programs to visitors in Mt. Robson Provincial Park. Bruce also worked as an instructor at the College of New Caledonia where he trained the next generation of outdoor adventure leaders.
Bruce holds a Provincial Instructor Diploma and a Diploma in Adult Education from Vancouver Community College. He has also attained professional interpreter status with Interpretation Canada.
